Open Grips

Open Grips comprise a barrel and wedge. The wedge is in two segments for wire and three segments for strand. The segments are held together with an O-ring or optionally a circlip for wire sizes. Wire wedges are coarse threaded for maximum grip and ease of cleaning.

Adjustable Grips

TMS Adjustable Grips are designed to be used where the load needs to be adjusted up or down without disturbing the original wedge set e.g. for short wire or strand stressing or ground anchors.

Spring Loaded Grips

Spring Loaded Grips are enclosed grips and comprise the wedge enclosed in a barrel loaded with a spring. Spring loaded grips should be used at the remote i.e. non-stressing end of the bed or where the stressing jack does not have a lock-off system.

Couplers

Couplers are used to connect two lengths of wire or strand. They comprise two wedges enclosed in spring loaded barrels connected by a centre piece.
